Recently, the Seminar on "Establishing High-Quality Medical Gas Pipeline Systems to Ensure Hospital Gas Safety", jointly organized by the National Association of Health Industry and Enterprise Management’s Medical Gases Professional Committee and the Tianjin Municipal Medical Products Administration, was held in Tianjin.
Hospital construction managers, medical system experts, and equipment manufacturers from all over the country gathered to exchange learning experience and jointly discuss the development and reform of medical pipeline systems. Hailiang, as a leading enterprise in the medical copper tube industry, participated in the conference.
Copper tubes have the ability to inhibit bacterial growth, making them particularly suitable for medical environments. They are primarily used in areas such as centralized oxygen supply in hospitals, purification gas transport in operating rooms, compressed air, negative pressure suction, and other medical and vacuum applications. According to the national standard GB 50751 Technical Code for Medical Gases Engineering, seamless stainless steel and seamless copper tubes are required for medical gas transport pipelines.
In 2019, Hailiang took the lead in drafting the industry standard, Seamless Copper Tubes for Medical Gases and Vacuum, becoming the standard setter and leader in the medical copper tube industry. Yang Yanjun, the President of the Beijing Hospital Construction Association, and Tao Anxiong, the Secretary-General of the National Association of Health Industry and Enterprise Management's Medical Gases Professional Committee and the Director of the Equipment Department at Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Hospital, highly praised the quality of Hailiang's medical copper tubes.

Additionally, we seek to enhance the professional competence of individuals involved in medical gas pipeline construction, ensure the safety of hospital gas usage, and thus promote the high-quality development of the medical gas industry.
